First of all – sorry for my english.

This time I would like to write some words for my Friends in America, especially Liz, Linda, Pastoral Team of St. Raphael Parish in East Meadow and their Parishioners. This is because I think I owe them that.

It’s over a year since my visit in US. At the beginning, let me say, that it was the greatest trip I’ve ever had. I’ll never forget my time in East Meadow and your hospitality. I learnt a lot. I’ve got an enormous number of photos and beautiful memories. None of them I wouldn’t have without you.

This very moment the only thing I could say is a big thank you! I hope to see you soon. I know that some day I just have to come back. There are so many people to meet and so many places to see again!

You’ve got an amazing country. I was so fascinated to have a chance to experience your patriotism, pride and openness. Some of that I would even like to copy to Poland (if only I could…). I was under impression of your involvment in the parish life. The Masses are so different then in Poland! You could receive the Holy Communion in two forms at all times!

The TOP3 things I liked the most in my trip are: Times Square, the Broadway show (with Fr. Tom we saw Frozen) and space shuttle Discovery, which we saw in Chantilly. One World Trade Center, Empire State Building, Central Park and Yankee game were also fantastic. And not only them!

Last but not least, I invite you all to visit me and Fr. Tom in Poland! Wish you all the best!

Maciek
